Terry observes an "attack" by "insurgents" in small craft aboard the Lockheed Martin SeaSLICE experimental craft near San Diego during Exercise SEAHAWK 07. SEAHAWK is designed to train Sailors in expeditionary operations in littoral regions and demonstrate new technologies needed for these operations. The Rangers were observing as part of their ongoing work for the Office of Naval Research.
