Leadership Training and Education

The education and training of senior leaders has become a natural extension of The Ranger Group’s analytic capabilities. We are uniquely suited to this: all of the Rangers have extensive experience in educational management, course development, classroom instruction, and advanced tutorial techniques such as the use of gaming and simulations for training.

  • The Ranger Group teaches the US Navy's DAWIA course in network centric warfare, providing government acquisition professionals an overview of current operational command and control issues facing the Navy.
  • The Ranger Group recently developed a two-day course in maritime domain awareness (MDA) issues for industry and government decision makers.

Members of The Ranger Group are actively involved in education activities outside DoD including:

  • Ethics training for civil servants in developing democracies
  • Lectures in military ethics as part of university outreach
  • College instruction in technical and social sciences
  • Mentoring local graduate students
