Command and Control Assessment

Addressing the challenge of articulating the impact of new command and control systems on operations and organizations, The Ranger Group has supported a variety of customers and programs in assessing command and control needs across a spectrum of operations from naval to combined. We assist in bringing high level C² issues to the fore as systems and architectures are developed and tested.

  • The Ranger Group supported the ACOA, AJP, and CINC 21 ACTDs in the assessment of new joint headquarters technologies. This included CONOPS development, participant training and coordination, MUA design and analysis.

  • The Ranger Group recently supported SSC San Diego in an OPNAV study of the impact of command and control on ASW operations. This focused on modeling the ASWC's decision making process.

  • The Ranger Group is supporting SSC San Diego and ONR in a TTCP analysis of the impact of networking on coalition naval force operations.
