ACES Operational Requirements

We are currently supporting the ONR - NIWC/SSCPAC ACES INP by conducting a series of workshops aimed at exploring the operational impact of ACES and the resulting operational requirements the outpost will eventually need to address. Our approach stresses rigorous data collection from stakeholders and thorough analysis of this data.

  • We’ve developed unique concepts for the workshops, each aimed at management's goals for the events. In doing so we’ve developed the methodology for the workshop, the attendee list and invitations, and conducted the workshops, including data collection and analysis. This has called upon our understanding of the Navy’s R&D and acquisition structure as well as the current fleet structure and joint warfighting concepts.

  • Subsequent to the workshops, we’ve conducted a detailed analysis of the data collected to quantitatively as well as qualitatively capture participants’ views and the overall workshop proceedings. This is providing ACES leadership with actionable data on the operational needs ACES engineers should address in its development: deployment, capacity, warfighting architecture integration.
